I want to invest or save now for my kids college, where do I start?

My kids are 9 and 12 and I don’t know where to start to pay for their college, do I put it in a CD, or invest in some market? What is the best way to have college money set aside? I know nothing about this type of thing.

    I would recommend opening a money market or a custodian CD account for your kids and you as a custodian. With crazy fluctuating economy right now, I would stay away from investing in stocks or any kind of funds. Wait till economy stabilizes a bit and then go with major investors and invest into stable values.
