where to invest
Michael D asked:

I’m new to investing and was wondering where I should invest in 08? I think the Dems are the heavy favorite so maybe I should avoid defense and load up on health services? Please help me out here.

Romola

I want to invest or save now for my kids college, where do I start?

    Dems???

Don’t take investment advice here, How do you know, what is being told to you has any validity.
Or do you just want to read enough answers to find one that agrees with your investment thoughts, whether you are both right or wrong.

I could tell you what I invest in, But you would never know when I am confident to invest more, or feel it is time to bail out,

    Think about this.

The dems win long term investors may start taking capital gains in 08 as bushs tax cuts expire in front of you long term investors may start taking capital gains in front of you long term investors may start taking capital gains in.
The dems win long term investors may start taking capital gains in which case shorting would be your best bet thats just my take but am not trading it right now.
